This 1967 Triumph TR4A was my first car. I bought this car in the summer of 1977. I drove the car every day until 1984, by then, the engine needed to be rebuilt and the clutch was gone. Due to lack of funds I put the car in storage until in 1991 I began a top-to-bottom restoration of the old TR. I performed the majority of the work myself. Over the 6-year period almost every moving part was rebuilt. I also restored the interior and gave it new paint.

In the summer of 1997 the ol’ TR was ready for the road. The thrill of driving was back. My wife and I have owned a few sports cars including a Corvette, an MGB, an RX7, and a very fast Mustang. None of these cars have given me the feeling that you get when you sit behind the wood dash and feel the road and the sound of the engine in this fun to drive car. Oh yea, the “cool car!” shouts from the kids as you drive by are fun too.
