Cargo tie down point mod

In the Dakota and Ram trucks Dodge made some reeeeel strong tie down points in the front of the bed. They are great but are inaccessible most of the time because the are close to the center of the bed, don't have enough surface area to pass runs of rope through and its difficult to hook tie down straps to them. This modification allows more runs of rope, eases the access to to the tie down point and makes tying down a load a heck of allot easier.
Parts list:
two pieces of cable, two hd cable ties and a socket set.
Steps:

  1. Back out bed mounting bolts underneath bed where the front tiedowns are
  2. Loop cable through the bar thing so both ends are coming out of the hole where the tie down is
    Clamp the two ends together
  3. Pull clamped down end down into the hole (this is tough) backing out the bed mounting bolt helpsthis process.
  4. Re-tighten bed mounting bolts.
